im having problems starting imap when I locate the automap folder it says the .chk file doesnt work I tried importing a .chk file from another map then it says the .chk doesnt exist  can anyone send me the .chk file that works?

try using kaine's 3D Map Editor - it's far better and easier to use than iMAP. You can grab it (and loads of other 1nsane utilities) from his website -

I tried that but an error came out when I launched it it says memory access violation I think Ive had this problem before with the game

If you want to send me the map or the .chk file I can find out why 3DME is giving an error.

having about the same problem here. using iMap it says there's an error with the AutoMap .chk file. it can't seem to find all the checkpoints? after looking into my automap files i see the chk. file has gotten fragmented somehow. i want to say it's working properly, just can't read the fraged chk file.

Have you tried deleting the contents of the automap folder and then runing the game to re-create it. It might help fix the frag problem.

ok tried that and the file is still fraged.

EDIT: i uninstalled everything with the mapmakers and the game itself. unzipped and reinstalled game ran it and still a fragged file.

i would start messing with kaines apps but i only got the editor working and the rest of the apps are giving error messages or it can't find any files it's looking for? grrr.... i'm not computer savvy but the more i try getting things worked out to run right i just seem to make it worse and fell like a hellva numb nut
