none here - I hope the trails are easier than the last ones, I had trouble getting over the 1st section after the start gate - lol

erm... they're probably a bit harder
3 greens and one yellow - my test time (with a few rolls) was in the mid 4mins

Here's a few tips which might help...
1. Lock your difs
2. 2nd gear is best for ascending - 1st for descending
3. Hold the handbrake to get round impossibly-tight corners
4. Use 'repair' to get the car upright if 'rollover' doesn't want to work
5. Try and ride the crease (angle in the terrain) to get up impossibly-steep climbs
Hope those help a bit
Oh and btw, the trails are going to get much harder
Good luck all - let's hope we get more than the 5 entrants we had last round

I got a 4:04 but then relalised I took an easy route to the top of the 2nd trail. Now I can't do 2nd trail cos I keep getting stuck on the same bit and falling off -

I need to get this downloaded to my laptop!!! I'm spending so much time on the road that i don't get to play along! The least I can do is run trails for time on my own.
BTW, we won the Pro Rock Finals as well as the Pro Rock US Natioanl series as of this last weekend. It's a smaller event series but the courses were amazing! Here's a few shots taken by On the MarQ OffRoad Photography:
And a video of one of the climbs up a 7 foot vertical with a 90 degree breakover:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdThBEB6gtw Sorry, I tried to embed the video here, but couldn't figure out the YouTube programming.
Alf, the teams LOVE to play 1nsane at the real events. We've had a number of teams over to our race hauler to drive the RockHer and they all say your work is amazing. Now, I just need to find time to get these guys hooked on the 1nsane racing league!

Wow, what a fantastic video - the real thing looks way better than 1nsane though
Congratulations on the wins - let's see how you do in the virtual competition too
Btw, I think I need to update the texture file for my RockHer II - have you changed the rims since I made my version?

cool, that looks like great fun, congrats on the win.
If only 1nsane could handle rocks like that!

Alf, the rims you have are what we normally run. The ones we ran in this event were prototypes for next season. I liked them in some ways, disliked them in others. Your version is what the Crawler will stay until at least early next year, unless Chevy comes on board and pays for a newer body style.

For some reason my computer doesn't like Python Trails, it runs really slow. When/if a comp is in Viper it's on!

how do you time your runs. Do you put it in offroad race and then it has gates for every trail?

I can't use Viper for now - I have to set 2 gates on every trail, which takes ages with over 100 trails. So for now, we can only use Python (unless anyone else feels like placing all the gates on Viper....
)
