had another couple of goes but I think put me down for my last time (03:08) as the 2:40 time must have been shear luck! PLUS WITH A TIME LIKE THAT I don't think it was fully on the right course (looking at the map I was taking a faster route! around the outside of the trail trying to get higher! it was not intentional cheating just unfortunate luck that I fell off the trail and went faster around the outside!) hopefully I will do better next time and I will put a youtube vid up of my replay of the 3 min run (does youtube accept the standard 1nsane replay's?)

No youtube won't take the standard 1nsane replay movs (I think) you will have to record it with fraps

Can you attach a reply to a comment? Maybe zipped? Anyone with the right map and rig can play it back that way. But tbh, I don't think anyone is going to take this so seriously that they need proof of a time.
14 hours to go........

nothing - lol
The plan is to add your times up week-on-week, then after 10 rounds find out who was quickest over the whole competition.
This week is just a practice though, to see how the rules are going to work.

there should be a rule to stop people from racing around the outside lol what do we get if we are the fastest??

yes I know I was faster by going round the outside of the trail but these are easy trails remember so most likely the harder trails the quickest route is the trail, yes obviously I have exposed a problem but that was only because the trails were set out like so with a faster way to get to the fast section of the trail but I tried other trials and the only way was to stick to the trail (mostly because that is the only way up!),
the whole idea of it is to keep it FUN, don't take it too seriously but have some limits and rules, I agree with naqs the best bit is getting a fast time with a good run and knowing that you were the best on that trail

Minibuzz and I have decided it would be a good idea to run this comp from friday to the following Sunday, giving people 2 weekends to get their best time.
So if it's ok with everyone else, comp will close on Sunday night 8pm GMT

Yep, all over now. Results are :- 1. Sanrover - 2:37.89 2. Fat-Alfie - 2:45.69 3. TRW - 2:47.18 4. Naqs - 3.04.53 5. Tinymonster - 3.07.67 Well done Sanrover, and thanks to everyone else for entering and having a go. I'll upload a new set of trails on Friday and we'll have until the following Sunday again. How do you want to work the scoring? We can't add times week-on-week in case someone enters who has never entered before. So I think it's going to have to be points. 1 - 20 points 2 - 15 3 - 12 4 - 10 5 - 9 6 - 8 7 - 7 8 - 6 9 - 5 10 - 4 How does that look? (I know 10 entrants looks a bit optimistic )

how about points like F1 so 1st= 10 points 2nd= 8 3rd= 6 4th= 4 5th= 3 6th= 2 7th=1 8= 1 that way if somebody enters late then they still have a chance of winning or scoring high marks, and keeps the championship closer
