It's a jump map called Brutal. Mostly small to medium sized jumps and doubles which can be cleared in anything faster than the Ute. 5mins laps are lots of fun Smiley

Thanks dan / ranover (?) - the map should work fine - just pop it in your data\maps\ directory, making sure it's not extracted itself into it's own folder (eg. data\maps\viper\). Then, either start a multiplayer game, in which case the map should show up automatically, or to use it offline (Single player mode) enter the code at the first screen (before you choose single / multi) - enter 'ineedmoremaps' or 'worldtraveller' for the UK or US version.

If you're still having problems PM me or catch me on MSN fat-alfie@hotmail.co.uk

Another excellent map Aflie, nice one, I like the ramps to the buildings nice touch.

Using multiple collision boxes for single objects is something I keep meaning to get around to looking at. If you made thin ones and then put them in the same position as the polygons on the object you should be able to create rocks that you can drive over (without them exploding your wheels!). You would only need the collision boxes on the top half of the rock also. It was an option I was going to build into 3DME where you could load a custom object and the editor positioned the relevant collision boxes. I may get around to looking at that one when I've finished all my other projects. I'll give you shout if I do.

Thanks Kaine Cheesy

That would be wonderful Shocked The only problem I can see is that the collision box is a cuboid but the objects are made from triangular faces Sad

The biggest problem I seemed to have with the custom objects was positioning the dummy collision boxes accurately enough to stop you from 'catching' your wheels on them. Maybe you could design some sort of 'snapping' to verts so you could butt 2 boxes up more easily, so the roof of the buildings on my map would've been smoother.

But yes, please let me know if you ever get round to looking at multiple collision boxes - it opens up great possibilities for custom maps Smiley

RedBullRockIt said he was having a little trouble with the first left-hander on trail #22. I have videos of me completing trails #22 and #24 on Viper, if anyone's stuck and wants a few hints. Let me know and I'll upload them to YouTube...
