just a few questions, wondered if anyone could help me please Smiley

1 - how is 56k modem online play? i myself have broadband, but want to play a mate who has a slowdem - is it worth it?

2 - what differences do the patches make to the game, the gameplay, and are they major changes ?

3 - If i have installed patches, will I be able to play against someon who has not installed the patches on his own machine?

1- Most people have 56k on CMN, and the most you can have in your room without any difficulties is 4 methinks

2- The patchs let you have multple skins etc

3- Dont know,

yes unpatched (U) can play patched(P).
However, if P chooses an added-on skin (paint-job) i.e. skin 5 or above, U will see only unrendered axels, or nothing at all of P's vehicle.
It makes sense to patch anyway to avoid confusion when you play other peeps

Hi and welcome to the Asylum   Wink The 1st thing you should know is that we're all nuts here  Grin

We play on GameSpy most evenings but hang around there all day too as well as stick around half the night lol

To get1nsane running on Windows 2000 / XP etc you will need GamePatch 2 on the Patches Page Gamepatch 2[/color]

The Patch is also available here Insane Game Pach 2

Most importantly The ]Total Randoms Mod Final

We also have a League Running League Board

If you do play online and have Trouble with The Flags being in different places to others chech that you are on the same Map and that it's not anybody elses fault.
If you still get the problem after re trying etc you can try the XP Flag - Fix but I can't promise anything.

We also have a TeamSpeak Server where we chat to each other ingame so don't be shy comeand join us there.

Tips..

There is an IDF Limit, read Here and note the Standard maps are required. Map and Vehicle Confusion - idf limit

Go Here For a list of all the Standards The extras on that list are not needed.

Most of us use standards online for a trouble free game.
