Welcome to the InsaneHeat Total Randoms Mod Final (TRM1)
Concept and inception by MoverPrime. Everything else by FatAlfie
(thanks also to Y02 for pointing the trick out)
Note all files included in the zip file are copyright of insaneheat.com DO NOT Upload anywere else
This is the pre Installer version so learn to copy and paste before you attempt to fit it.
You WILL need all original maps for it to work
austri.idf and highlnd.idf go in your maps folder. \Codemasters\Insane\Data\maps
overwrite anything thats there
Data.idf goes in your data folder \Codemasters\Insane\Data
back the old one up first if you want (rename the old one data.idf.bak)
Text.idf goes in your lang00 folder. Back the old one up first if you want \Codemasters\Insane\Data\Lang00
This mod brings you 2 new "standard" maps and 16 stunning flavours of random instead of the original 5
If you have any trouble with this mod feel free to post Here or in the help section of the forum

Nice one, I like the new modded mod it throws in a few different maps that you have to think about now.
No problems spotted as yet apart from people joining online with out the modded mod and Mr X-Bell doesnt like the Purple ones....? (they crash his game)

Mr. X is ok now and the news is updated on the main page so problems are fixed hehe..
Ive trie them and I gotta say top job and I love the different surfaces on some randomised maps..
This is a must have for playing online and if you play offline dont miss out its really cool.

Well done everyone on the new randoms, definately a must for all insaners, whether playing on line or not.
I have a small problem though, Slippery Ice and Snow maps are black and green. I have all the standard maps + the 2 new ones which others do I need?

erm i did alfy, 3 posts up just seems a bit obvious snow and ice is going to be a tad slippery as i said in my earlier post i think the mod rocks, no complaints from me whatso ever. |

There are no bugs. The solution to any problems anyone may have found after fitting this mod is simple... shout at Simmo on TS. This will relieve stress and make you feel much better. After that take a couple of those crappy old addons out.. You know the ones. The crappy ones. Maps cars whatever. Just make sure you got all the standards still fitted. VOILA! All sorted. Oh and Simmo will get over it... prolly. |
