when installing don't intall the google web tool thingy you need to un-tick it

i haven't seen any difference between 2.01 and 2.0

In fact the startup screen still says 2.0

hey noah.....1 diff ive seen is a red arrow scroller thingy (2.01) at the right side of the "love peeps list" (buddylist).

thats what ive seen.....

yes it just shows version 2.0 on the startup but once you are logged in
it shows version 2.01 in the top left of the gamespy window.

i think it`s about time we sorted  ingame chat sorted out
comeforth and i had a play last night and it worked pretty well
i think we can improve things , but any idea`s would be helpfull
we tried using g/spy`s own chat proggy to make things simple

If a lot of peeps are using the Gamespy chatter, that's another incentive to subscribe

but some of the other alternatives might be better (and free?)

better maybe, but lets try an keep it for folk like me (simple)
everybody on g/spy already has the proggy everybody can listen in game lobbies
it`s just when we start games people have problems
but if we try a third party proggy I.e. teamspeak, then it gets complicated
 an i do not like complicated
there again if everybody subscribed .........
i can here the lid comin of a can o worms already

Well Drow keeps complaining that the UK server is sluggish. To be honest I didnt realise we only had the one. Perhaps our wealthy friends in the good ol US of A could club together and get us another one. Then we could have 2. Yippee. Failing that we could go back to Seans idea and pool our recourses. If we all donate our spare string we could knot together our very own 1nsane transatlantic pipeline. Hmmm. Anyone out there a really really strong swimmer?

LOL  have only just read this hehe  

A few people used to use ingame chat and had problems with LAG big time
others even used to use MSN to chat still had the same problem.

In my eyes the lest LAG the better so why bother
